Our Staff

Founded in 2002, with a deep love and appreciation for the "Lil Ones" around us, we began striving to provide the most committed and affordable child care for our area. With the best staff, we've been successful because of our continued appreciation for the needs and the support of our children and their parents.

I am a married mother of 4, I have been running Lil One’s Day School for 13 years now. I have seen many children grow into amazing young adults. It is very fulfilling to be such a huge part of so many children's lives. We strive to provide our community with a safe, loving, educational, and structured place for their children to learn and grow when they can’t be home with Mom and Dad.

I started my journey with Lil One's in the baby room, and I absolutely love the challenges that are given to  me there. Each little one has their own personality and needs and I love watching them learn and grow into sassy little toddlers. I have two children of my own, and am so grateful that I am able to be close to them as I tend to the needs of many other little ones as they are away from their families. I dote and snuggle each one with tender adoration. I recently became manager of Lil One's and cannot wait to see where this journey will take me! Helping our staff grow together, to become the leading care provider for our community, and seeing to it that our little ones have the best care available.

I enjoy greeting our families and seeing our smiling kids as they come through our door. I try to maintain our business affairs as the kids come and go. I enjoy spending time with the school age children, they are so curious and ask great questions. I have lots of stories to tell, of my horses, and my dogs! I love animals and I know that kids do too so we have that in common. I get pretty involved with my reception duties, but I am always happy to help any newcomer, or spend a few minutes hearing a child's latest experience.

I have been here at Lil One's for 12 years, almost since the beginning. I have pretty much seen and done it all. Most of the kids here remember me most because I am the bus driver, so we go and do a lot of fun and exciting things together. I have worked with every age group, but feel most at home with the older kids in our after school program. I am a kid at heart, and have the patience that I feel is needed to keep these kids grounded as they start school. I am very creative, and love having leisure fun learning activities for the kids. This helps them feel more at home, and sometimes these kids are here with us all day. I want them all to feel safe, confident, and loved while they are in our care.

I have been at Lil One’s Day School for 6 years and I am a preschool teacher. I have worked with many different age groups and have 2 small children of my own. I absolutely love the daycare and teaching children the basics to get them ready for kindergarten. This place is a family place to me, I have watched many kids come and go, small and big, and I couldn’t imagine changing anything!

I have been the all around everywhere teacher. I have helped many of our primary teachers with their classes. I love to play hard and rough with the kids, but I also try to teach them the seriousness of discipline and structure. I try to teach that kindness and friendship is very important for our little people. I wander around singing our songs with them while we're washing hands and faces for lunch or from being outside. I try to keep our little critters clean.

I am a mother of 3 and have worked at Lil One's for 8 years. I have the privilege of working with the 3 year old class. I encourage them to do most of the preschool work on their own. They do coloring pages, cut and paste projects, and our other arts and crafts. We learn the days of the week, the seasons, and the months. We have lots of story time and many other fun activities and games. I also try to continue the fundamentals of potty training, like washing hands and bathroom cleanliness. This helps them be more independent as they progress into the older preschool. I enjoy watching them grow as they learn.

I work in the 3 and 4 year old class, and love playing with these kids outside. During the summer we have the older 4 year olds from the preschool class with us, so we get a larger group of kids. This makes it more interesting for all the younger kids because they are learning from these guys. We get to take field trips on the bus, and see things around town. I am lucky to be here working with such an awesome group of ladies who are all so fun to be around. I am a student myself, going to college, so I like to see the kids as they learn and I get to implement some of my studies in the classroom. My students are eager to learn and I love being their teacher.

I am Holly, but my flock calls me "HollyMOM", I grew up in a house with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. At a young age I told my mother. "When I grow up I am going to have a daycare of mine own!" Well, I don't own a center, but I thoroughly enjoy working at Lil One's. I tend the 2 year old class. I spend most of my day running to the nearest bathroom for potty training. We enjoy singing the ABC's and learning to count to 10. We all love to sing songs and be with one another outside. I am a mother of 5 of my own children, so I know the importance of teaching children at a young age in a structured environment, where we still have lots of fun.

I work with the 2 year olds and I love it. This age is so much fun, they each have their own little personality even being so young. They get so excited learning something new, I love to see their faces light up! They start clapping, they are so happy and it makes it all so worth it. I've been working here for only a short time, but I can't wait to continue learning and teaching these kids as they grow into little preschoolers.

Hi, I'm the crazy, outgoing, and loving older 1 year old teacher. In my class we laugh, cuddle, and play most of the day. We really try to make even our routine have a little fun in it. We make a game of practicing washing our hands and faces before and after lunch. We have group sippy time, and these kids learn so fast. I have really grown to love each of your children. they have such a love that teaches me something new everyday. Lil One's is such an awesome loving place, and it is a true joy to be here. I don't have children of my own yet, so I've kind of adopted these guys as my own, day time babies!

I am the older one year old teacher along with teacher Winter! I have fallen in love with these sweet children. I started out as part time, after-school with the school kids. I love children and I am lucky to have the opportunity to work with them. When I was younger I used to come to this daycare, and ever since then I have loved being here. I have always been somewhat of a teacher, helping my aunt with my counsins, and now I am a permanent teacher here and I cannot wait to see them grow and learn, as I grow and learn with them!

I am the younger 1 year old teacher. I love reading these kids my favorite books and singing songs. Their faces light up when I make silly faces and use funny voices. Most of them will sit around me, and listen intently, some help me read, and all of them can't wait for the next story. I love this age group because we are going through so many changes, this is the milestone class. Many of my kids are barely crawling, on bottles, with no teeth when they first come to my class. But, near the end, they are walking chompers, ready for real food and lots of it. We are running, playing hard, and going full speed. Summer is our favorite time of year, I love to be outside with these guys. Blowing bubbles in the sun, but who doesn't love bubbles?!

I am a mum to 6 wonderful children ranging in ages from 18 to 3, and I was destined to be a Mom. I started out here with the older one year olds, but I have been lucky enough to become the permanent baby teacher! I especially love the babies, I take pride knowing that the babies are fed, changed, and loved on everyday that they are here. They make me so happy! I am proud to say that your babies are happy and safe with us at Lil One's, whether they are big or small!

I am a mommy to 2 beautiful children. I am a fun, outgoing person. I love to cook, sew, and do crafts. I also love the outdoors! I am a "Floater" at Lil One's, I love it! I get to work with children of all ages. Everyday is something different. One of my favorite classes to be with is the babies! They make me laugh! I am studying early childhood developmemt, and preschool teaching. This has been a great learning experience for me where I am applying my studies to my work here while I further my career.

Hi, my name is Jessica, I recently moved here from Utah. I am a mother to 5 children. I have many years of experience working with children of different age groups. As an employee of Lil One's Day School I am privileged to work with all the age groups. I also help with the duties in the kitchen area during lunch and snack times. I enjoy seeing the kids get excited when they find out that I'm going to be in their class for the day. I do have to say that I have a soft spot for the littler ones who are learning to smile and play. My kids are growing up so fast, so having little ones to enjoy is really the best part of my job!

Family  has always been important to me. I consider every one here at Lil One's to be part of my family. I really enjoy watching these children as they get older and grow, oftentimes the changes are amazing. It's always a joy when I am away from work to run into children who attended in the past, or attend now. They always smile, wave, and have kind words to say if I see them shopping or driving through town. My earliest experience in child care was helping family take care of my youngest brother, who had been in a body cast at age 2. We didn't have a woodshed at home to make him obey. The daycare's pretend timeout is the woodshed. I would lock him in the fruit cellar where he had a pet spider named Lucy. I am so glad that we have a woodshed here, the kids mind much better than my brother did!
